Who we are
Forewarned is operated by Forewarned Pty Ltd (ABN 52 683 552 552) ("Forewarned", "we", "us"). We design and supply golf course safety systems in Australia. This policy explains how we handle personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect
When you make an enquiry: your name, email address, phone number, golf club, location, the products you are interested in, and anything you choose to tell us about your course (for example blind holes, near misses and current safety methods) and how you heard about us.
When you subscribe to our newsletter: your first name and email address.
When you call or email us: your contact details and what you tell us.
When you use this website: technical and usage information such as your IP address, browser and device type, approximate location, the pages you visit, how you scroll and click, and how you found the site. This is collected by the analytics tools described below.
How we use it
We use your information to reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes, supply and support our products, send the newsletter you asked for, improve this website, and protect our forms from spam and abuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for anything unrelated to the reason you gave it to us unless you agree or the law allows it.
Analytics and cookies
Google Analytics 4 helps us understand how many people visit the site and which pages are useful. It uses cookies and does not give us your name or email address.
Google Ads uses cookies to tell us when someone who clicked one of our ads goes on to send an enquiry, and may show our ads to people who have visited this site. You can turn off personalised ads at adssettings.google.com.
Microsoft Clarity shows us anonymous heatmaps and session replays so we can find parts of the site that are confusing. Form fields are masked, so what you type into our forms is not recorded.
Vercel Speed Insights measures how fast pages load. It does not use cookies.
Cloudflare Turnstile may run a short, mostly invisible check on our forms to tell people from bots.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The site still works if you do.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run our business, and they handle information on our behalf: Pipedrive (our customer database), Vercel (website hosting), Google and Microsoft (analytics and email), and Cloudflare (security). We may also share information with installers or suppliers when that is needed to deliver your system, or when the law requires it.
Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union. We choose providers with strong security and privacy commitments.
Marketing
We will only send you our newsletter or marketing emails if you have asked for them or we otherwise have your consent. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or you can ask us to stop at any time.
Keeping it secure
Information sent through this website is encrypted in transit. Access to our customer records is limited to people who need it, and we keep information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by contacting info@fore-warned.com.au or 07 5220 8788. We will respond within 30 days.
Complaints
If you think we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first and we will try to resolve it within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
